STUDENT BULLETIN
CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Peace Jam, International Affairs and Diversity club will meet tomorrow in room 109 between 2:20 and 2:50. Also for anyone interested in the July 2009 Kenya Study and Service trip there will be information available at this meeting or pick up a flyer outside the library on the International Affairs club bulletin board.
The Technology Student Association is meeting after school this Thursday. If you have not paid your $25 dues, please due so as soon as possible as time is running short to finish events. As runoffs were this Saturday, all events that have been filled are now closed. Please feel free to sign up for events not already at capacity. Remember to go to state you need to be competing in at least four events at state.
ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS
Need help in math or science? Free tutoring available from Lockheed Martin employees. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30, room 116 (use the Forum entrance).
SPECIAL EVENTS
International Education Week 2008 is all this week. This year’s theme is “International Education: Fostering Global Responsibility and Leadership”. Events going on include: LHS and outside speakers and films on international issues in the Forum and Theater throughout the week, International food fair in the café on Thursday between 10:30 and 12:30, International Fashion show, foreign and ESL student speakers, world music (The Reggae band Lion Souljah), and a school wide change war and “harambe”(Kiswahili for group effort) to fundraise for clean water projects at Musana Children’s Home in Uganda and Gitinga Primary school in Kenya. Large calendars of the events are in the main lobby, on the International Affairs club bulletin board outside the library, and in the cafeteria. Enjoy the week and the opportunity to think global. Take advantage of your off periods to learn something new about global issues.
LIONS FOLLIES TICKETS!! Get your Lion’s Follies tickets in the cafeteria during both lunches!! They are only $5 and if you buy a ticket for Friday night’s performance you could win $25 worth of I-Tunes downloads!! Additionally, if you went to the Musana Children’s Home presentation and were interested in buying a t-shirt, they will also be on sale in the café along side the Lion’s Follies tickets---so pick up your shirt today and a ticket to a wonderful show!!! Both tickets and t-shirts will be on sale all week during lunches and after school on Thursday and Friday.
Come to Novemberfest on Saturday night; bring your friends and family! Bid on and win all of your holiday gifts, sports items and entertainment! Dinner is a Catered Italian Dinner from Romano's. Dinner tickets MUST be purchased by Friday and are being sold everyday after school, in the Front Lobby.

Jostens will be here to deliver class rings on Friday, November 21st from 10:30-12:30 in the senior hall.

Lost and Found will be emptied next Tuesday afternoon, prior to the Thanksgiving break. There are numerous coats in the bin, which will be donated, so please come down and claim any lost items!
